| CSC established its first 1.2 kW PV system in 2002. In May 2011, another four sites with 500 kW in total were put into services. The photo below shows the 184 kW PV system on the roof of CSC’s auditorium. These 500 kW PV can generate 670 MWh electricity and reduce 400 tons of CO2 annually. |

CSC set up a 3 kW shrouded type wind turbine as shown below for evaluation and demonstration in 2010.

| CSC set up 67 kW hydraulic generator system in its hot rolling mills in Mar. 2011 to recover the extra gravity potential of cooling water due to space limitation. This hydraulic system can generate 500 MWh and reduce 310 tons of CO2 every year. |
