CSC has established a Low Carbon Transition Plan to reduce carbon emissions and is collaborating with local governments to guide downstream industry customers in carbon reduction. Additionally, the company is assisting vulnerable groups with the installation of energy-saving equipment, creating social benefits help improve energy use efficiency and enhance the existing living environment for both industries and communities.

Air pollutant emissions are a concern for community residents. Improper management of emissions could potentially affect local air quality and public health. In recent years, CSC has been cooperating with the Executive Yuan's "Air Pollution Control Action Plan" and implementing multiple air quality improvement projects. Additionally, CSC has participated in Air Quality Purification Zones to improve the environment and air quality. By continuing to reduce air pollution, CSC aims to enhance air quality and minimize the impact on the health of community residents.

Impact valuation conducted：Social Return on Investments (SROI)

CSC referred SROI as the analysis for the impact valuation to measure the benefits of carbon emissions reduction to external stakeholders. It measured the benefits of external stakeholders (e.g., downstream, school coordinators, and teachers), using interviews and surveys to define the outcomes (e.g., develop the ability and knowledge for carbon inventory, improve individual sense of achievement, improve the teaching and learning experience, reduce local greenhouse gas emission, and enhance low-carbon technology research and development). CSC calculated the impact for each outcome as reference for impact valuation.

It measured the benefits of external stakeholders (e.g., school coordinators, and teachers), using interviews and surveys to define the outcomes (e.g., improve communication and coordination ability, enhance awareness of natural ecology, and improve local environmental quality). CSC calculated the impact for each outcome as reference for impact valuation.
