CSC Sustainability Goals

Economic growth, environmental protection, and social positive force constitute CSC's callings to sustainable development. In order to continuously enhance sustainable operation and management at the company, fulfill its commitment to sustainable development, and meet the expectations of its stakeholders, CSC has formulated its environmental, social, and governance (hereinafter referred to as ESG) goals for 2024 to 2031 aimed at contributing to environmental, social, and governance/economic aspects with concrete actions.

Stakeholders' opinions are collected through various channels each year, and ESG goals of CSC are adjusted in coordination with operation and development strategies in a timely manner.

Water Resource Plan the introduction of (alternative sources of) reclaimed water from Hefa industrial parks, and reduce new water consumption by 54.4%. Circular Economy and Coproduction between Steel and Petrochemical Plants Develop power saving technology for coproduction between steel and petrochemical plants with power saving reach 10%.   • 2. Assist local communities in Siaogang District in establishing community care centers to provide preventive care for the elderly. Continue supporting disadvantaged families, rural school children and the elderly, with an expected reach of over 5,000 people.

  • 2. Engage in comprehensive care for all ages by integrating AI-powered long-term care services. Connect with district offices, village offices, and community care stations to provide long-term care resources, expand service coverage, and enhance service offerings. The expected number of beneficiaries exceeds 5,500.
  • 3. Promote education for sustainability by reaching out to all levels of educational and social institutions to expand its impact across all age groups, aiming to promote environmental sustainability, cultural sustainability, and talent sustainability. The expected number of beneficiaries is over 10,000.
  • 4. Promote community empowerment to create a better living environment and foster coexistence and shared prosperity with the local community. The expected manpower involvement exceeds 5,500 participants.
Occupational Safety
