CSC Sustainability Targets

Economic growth, environmental protection, and social positive force constitute CSC's callings to sustainable development. In order to continuously enhance sustainable operation and management at the Company, fulfill its commitment to sustainable development, and meet the expectations of its stakeholders, the Company has formulated its environmental, social, and governance (hereinafter referred to as ESG) targets for short, mid and long-term targets, aimed at contributing to environmental, social, and governance/economic aspects with concrete actions.

Stakeholders' opinions are collected through various channels each year, and ESG targets of the Company are adjusted in coordination with operation and development strategies in a timely manner.

The target was partially achieved. The particulate matter (PM) reduction target was not fully met due to the delay in the first-phase construction of the coke oven and coke dry quenching (CDQ) facilities. These facilities are expected to commence operation in June 2026.
Water Resource Continue the stable introduction of reclaimed water from Fengshan River (including the alternative of Hefa Industrial Park) and Linhai reclaimed water, and reduce new water consumption by 57.0%.

  • 2. The core skills training for new mechanical and electrical maintenance personnel is 90%.
  • 3. In response to the digital transformation trend, at least four related seminars will be held annually.
  • 4. Keep the 4th-level directors (professional level) and technicians ratio ≥ 60%.
Some targets have been achieved, while the failure to meet other is due to the retirement of existing personnel.
Talent Retention
  • 1. The rate of handover plan for third-level directors and above is 93%.
  • 2. Increase the shareholding percentage of the employee shareholding trust to 2.85%, to help colleagues prepare for retirement and increase employee retention intentions.
  • 3. The rate of employees returning to work after parental leave ≧80%.
  • 4. Prepare to establish a Baby Care Center.

  • 1. Contract-based counselors to provide professional on-site service for employees of CSC and its affiliates, and expand the provision to family members.

A target has been achieved, while the failure to meet others is due to major occupational accidents involving contractors and the contractor disabling injury frequency rate (FR) exceeding the threshold in 2025.
