China Steel has developed the refining technology to reduce the SPONCH from 133ppm to 96.2ppm. The level of SPONCH has been steadily below 100ppm. This SPONCH technology will keep going to the goal of less than 78ppm, to achieve the first class of the steel company. In the mean time, sound slab casting technology will be established for the product development of AHSS auto sheet and the electric steels.
