Contractor Training

CSC maintenance units are responsible for arranging training courses and certifications based on the health and safety requirements as well as technical skills required for contractors to perform their work at CSC. The training has been proven to be effective. In 2022, contractor workers received a total of 27,517 hours of training in CSC.

Note I: 1,019 and 431 persons received corrugated roofing training in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Due to the impact of COVID-19, in order to comply with the company's epidemic prevention policy, number of trainees was reduced to 148 persons in 2020, with the same training hours and frequency.

Note II: Following the worsening COVID-19 outbreak in Taiwan, the “Certification Renewal Training Course for Contractors” was suspended since mid-May 2021 in compliance with the company's COVID-19 prevention measures. Starting on June 21, 2021. courses were conducted via e-learning to ensure the stability of the company's operations and meet contractors' work requirements when entering its premises.

Note III: Additional classes were conducted in consideration of growing demand for fire watch personnel at CSC plants.
