| DEVELOPMENT OF THE COMPANY | |
CSCI Steel Corporation India Pvt. Ltd. (CSCI), located in the Dahej-2 Industrial Area, Bharuch, Gujarat, was established on October 20, 2011. The hot commissioning was initiated on September 27, 2014. CSCI was granted the BIS certification by the Indian government on April 22, 2015. Being CSC’s large investment project in India, its official operations began on May 1, 2015. India is one of the biggest and fastest-growing economies in the world. In order to cater to the demand for motors in the local automobile, home appliance, power, and toy industries as well as assist the customers to carry out vertical integration of the supply chain, CSC, as a motor material supplier, has set up an electrical steel sheet production line in western costal India, where there is easy access to both the Delhi and Mumbai markets in terms of the plant location. CSCI is committed to developing high-efficiency electrical steel sheets by reducing product costs and enhancing its own competitiveness. |

| BRIEF INTRODUCTION OF OPERATION | |
CSCI has had the abilities to produce non-oriented silicon steel (CRNO) from grades 50C1000 to 35C250. Its annual production capacity is 200,000 metric tons. It provides motor rotors as small as penholders, motors for car windows, skylights, and shutters, oil-controlled motors for acceleration, large industrial motors, small- and medium-sized transformers, etc. Moreover, it aims to offer short lead-time of 14 days to satisfy its customers’ demand for high-efficiency electrical steel sheets in motor related industries in the Delhi and Mumbai markets. In the future, it will penetrate into all India as well as markets in the Middle East, and Africa by coordinately utilizing various distribution channels established by the CSC Group. |

| PROSPECTS | |
| CSCI is aimed at assisting its customers to carry out vertical integration of the supply chain, developing steel products with high efficiency and quality, reducing costs, and continuously enhancing its own competitiveness. Simultaneously, it will expedite the planning of the phase-2 investment; it will also develop the Indian market by enriching product portfolios with added production lines to meet the fast growing consumer and industrial demands. | |
