| DEVELOPMENT OF THE COMPANY | |
To implement the Government's policies of accelerating the promotion of an offshore wind power development program and achieving the localization of the supply chain in the industry, China Steel Corporation (CSC) invested a capital of NT$3,421 million in the establishment of Sing Da Marine Structure Corporation (SDMS) on April 19th, 2018, 100% owned by CSC. SDMS is currently constructing an offshore wind power subsea foundation production site in the Industrial Innovation Zone located at Xingda Port, Kaohsiung City, mainly including a fabrication plant, a heavy-duty quay and an office building, covering a total area of 27 hectares. |

Sing Da Marine Structure Corporation (SDMS) had completed its construction project of the plant by the end of 2019, mainly produced Jackets and began commissioning from January 2020. The first 100% localization Jacket has completed and started the continuous production since July of 2021. |

| PROSPECTS | |
| With the support of technology expertise from the experienced European companies, Nervión and DNV-GL, SDMS will be the first domestic company that starts to produce subsea foundations for offshore wind power. To meet the need of the market, SDMS collaborates with about 20 domestic suppliers. In addition, SDMS will commit to continually assisting in supporting the local supply chain of offshore wind power industry and play an important role in the development of the offshore wind power industry in Taiwan. | |
