Sing Da Marine Structure Co., Ltd. (SDMS), established by China Steel Corporation (CSC) on April 19, 2018, has successfully delivered Taiwan's first 100% locally offshore jacket foundation, gaining a head start in the wind power industry.

Building on its established expertise, SDMS has strategically expanded its steel structure manufacturing and coating technologies to meet evolving industry demands and reinforce its position in Taiwan's green energy and manufacturing support market.
Business Lines
Sing Da Marine Structure Co., Ltd. (SDMS) has successfully introduced European technologies for offshore wind subsea foundation manufacturing, project management, and quality inspection. With practical experience in producing Taiwan's first homegrown subsea foundation, SDMS is uniquely positioned to meet the growing demands for technical services and manufacturing support in the green energy sector.
To further enhance Taiwan's international competitiveness, SDMS is diversifying its business operations across the following four key areas:
  1. Steel structure fabrication and coating technology for energy infrastructure and public works.
  2. Renewable energy services:
    • Offshore wind power: provision of steel structures and specialized jigs/fixtures.
    • Ocean Current Power: provision of manufacturing facilities and production support for ocean current turbine units.
  3. Terminal and hinterland storage operations: including vessel berthing and maintenance services.
  4. Technical manpower & professional services:
    • Wind farm development: professional instructors for subsea foundation localization courses; manufacturing, supervision, and electrical/mechanical (E&M) personnel; wind farm project management and quality management (QA/QC) staffing.
    • Marine engineering: quality control (QC) inspectors, NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) technicians, and professional welder training.
