Ti-6Al-4V features high strength (about 900~1000MPa), low density (~4.43g/cm3), outstanding corrosion resistance and excellent biocompatibility. So it is widely used in petrochemical, automobile, domestic, biomaterial and aerospace industries.
CSC cooperates with CSPM and contractors to break through the production bottlenecks and successfully produces the Ti-6Al-4V Φ8mm black wire coil weighed more than 1 ton, which is to further drawing, shaving, finishing, stretching and centerless grinding to be a Φ2.42mm bright bar, which has been supplied to Foxconn as the raw material of “iPhone 5” screw nuts. In the future, CSC will launch to the biomaterial and aerospace certification to extend the Ti-6Al-4V wire coil application.
